Im still alive !

Auntieeee Im alive and well. Just forgot about this blog :-( I am still working out and now lost 65.6 lbs, down to my goal weight of just a bit below 150 lbs.. me a hot pupule now LMFAO Just wanted to stop by and say hi.... :)

Dam im getting so much stronger than just 3-4 weeks ago.. its unbelievable !

i was doing the pullovers (laying on a bench and bringing a dumbell back, working ur chest mostly and ur arms too.. So i started doing it with 12.5 lbs.. then she changes it to 15 as it seemed "easy". So i do my 12-15 reps, later i do another set, but on the 3rd set, and this without me noticing it, she changed it for 20 lbs... WITHOUT ME NOTICING !!!!! so i do my 15 reps with 20 lbs WEIGHT !!!! I almost told her that "hey this is almost easy"... yeah LOL.. thank god i didnt or next time she would give me 25 lbs lol I was almost chasing her around the gym LOL it was funny as hell... but i LOVED IT !!! It jsut proved that its mind over matter and i was able and will use heavier weights in the future ! I love her for that .. she's cool

and total lost is 24 lbs too. So lets say i did "ok" ? LOL... I have never did so good at losing this weight compared to the other years ive trained in the past.. at one time I think i had lost like 40 lbs and "only" like 22 inches.. but that was in like 4 months or something like that or even5 at themost... so id say im gaining some good muscles, strenght and LOSING FAT !!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I asked a lawyer friend of mine if I could borrow her digital cam to take with me at the gym and she gladly said yes. She's very sweet.. So the pics are in the link above :)

tonight's workout :)



Just got back from the gym and I had a great workout. Let me start with what
I had today for food :

Breakfast : 2 toasts with natural pb and a touch of honey, OJ

mid AM snack at work : a yogurt and a banana a bit later on

Lunch : spinach pasta with tomatoes mixed with pieces of chicken

Mid-day snack : a small can of tuna

supper : left over veggies mixed with tuna and some spinach

I usually start, at least for now, with a 10 min warm up on the bike, then I
hopped on the treadmill for 45 min. Then moved on to work on my legs.. i worked
all sides of my legs LOL... then 2x20 reps for upper abs and then hopped on the
elyptical for another 45 min. I had my Polar as usual just ot know how much Im
burning and i burned 1133... i dont have my watch with me but its not much
higher than that. I always start my watch when i start my warm up up until i
do my last stretches at the end of my workout.. so total 2 hrs today.

Great workout last night !

Last night was a good workout.. at least, calorie wise. Left work a bit early and got myself another MP3 player. Didn't like the one I had bought the week before (it was 50$) and some features I had trouble with so I sold it to a girl at work, she'll give it to her daugher. From the box, this MP3 had a HR monitor with calorie counter, etc.. but I already have a HR monitor with the watch so I might not use that specific feature anyways but its good. I can attach it to my arm during my workouts so I don't have to hold it in my hands. I head to the gym. I get there oh around 6pm. I wanted to do the taebo/kickboxing class at 7h30 so I had 90 min. to "kill". I did my usual cardio routine. Got on the treadmill for 20 min and then did another 40 min on the elyptical. I think i burned like 565 calories according to my HR... anyways. Then I did the class. It was good ! :) I havent done a class in ages let alone a kickboxing/taebo workout. I did what I could and I did better than I thought I would I think. I just went at my own pace and if I needed to stop to rest or drink water or to whipe my face of my drenching sweat LOl.. i did. Too bad the guy is on vacation now, he won't do his class before the end of the month... oh well it's ok. Considering my knees, which are better, depending on the day, i did very good :) and did burn oh almost another 600 calories doing the class :D

so yeah me :) thats my day


Workout day :)

Today was a good day. After having a nice supper at an Italian resto with my parents last night, I went to the gym this morning. Took my bike and rode there which only took me 10 minutes, shows you how not far it is from my place lOL Went to do a step class which was good, did a 30 min on the treadmill right before, so all in all I burned pretty much 800+ cals today which is great :)

Ok Im about to miss out on Hawaiian/kona coffee <img src=(" /> can you guys send me some ? Ouahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh My fave is the caramel one at the Tropical Farmers Market (i think thats how its called) and any coffee thats aromatized ! not the regular coffee... so help a "poor" canadian girl get back her Hawaiian coffee LOL... oh you could add a bag of macadamian nut popcorn too in that :P


Im back :)

First off, its my bday today :D woot woot...

I havent posted for a while cuz i think i was depressed and eating alot of shit food and staying home, which didnt help. The weight kept creeping on and on and on until this week when i got totally fed up. I think i "hit" that wall i was always talking about.. i hope so anyways. So I went back tot he gym last Tuesday, joined for another year. No tthe same one I was at the past year (which ive only attented 4 months out of 12 sheeshhh and still paid for it !!). So I finally decided myself to join back and go to one Ive been to about 3 yrs ago not too far from my place which is about a 15 min bus ride. Ive gone 3x so far (including today) and I feel pretty good already. I think things will pick up from now on adn lets hope I keep things up. The people at the gym basically know me cuz its the same employees that were there 3-4 yrs ago and they do ask how im doing and push me and dont let me down. So that'll be it for now... going to eat supper with mom later on....
